Not sure if this is the right place to post, please move if not.

I was simulating a simple passive bandpass RCL filter in Ltspice, and the max frequency turned out to be 1.58 kHz; according to my literature the max value was supposed to be 10 kHz. What am I doing wrong?

Please post your LTSpice asc file,so that we can run a sim.

Looks like you forgot to multiply the square root of LC by 2 * pi when trying to calculate the frequency. LTSpice gave you the correct result.

 

Oh... My literature deals with angular velocity, and Ltspice with frequency...
Now it all makes sense, thanks alot!
