Hi all
Can you please help me to simulate the following IGBT; I'm not really sure how I create a model for the following IGBT (datasheet attached):

Can anyone point me in the right direction or even better create one for me just genuninly need to test something quickly for an application, would be very greatful.

Spice models are typically available from the manufacturer.

 

It's difficult to generate a decent Spice model from a data sheet.
The parameters used in a Spice model are generally quite different from the parameters given in a spec sheet.

 

Use LTspiceXVII. It contains the built-in model IGBT. Copy the symbol mesfet.sym in IGBT.sym and correct it.
Take the parameters by default, but then test, having created test schemes. Select the parameters to models. I have described that has did I if me was a necessary model.

hi ok I didn't realise there was a new version of LTSpice, how do I set the parameters of the IGBT?

oh brilliant would you mind explaining what some of the things you have defined are I assume Vt is the threshold voltage, may I ask what WB, NB and kp are. Is this model for the IGBT that I put a datasheet or for one you have used before.
