I am trying to build a simple switch that i would be able to solder to another circuit in the near future. I ripped the switch off of an old SnapCircuits Board Game (im just a kid) and i thought my setup would work, but it didnt... please help! Here are pictures to show my problem...

I don´t see what the problem is? Do you have a multimeter to test it? What are you trying to switch?

 

What does "i thought my setup would work, but it didnt" mean? What didn't work?
