I have done and tested this circuit design on the breadboard and It works fine.

The Potentiometer changes the frequency of the oscillation, thus changing the pitch of the audio output.

However, I would like to add another potentiometer that will change the Amplitude of the oscillation (a volume knob). How would I have to add the potentiometer to the circuit?

PD: The Input voltage is actually 19V, not 9V

If you want to decrease volume, use a pot and put a voltage divider on the output. If you want to increase amplitude, you need to add an amplifier.
