Made this simple amplifier circuit and my question is, is the load resistor connected correctly? why is the power dissipated in the resistor so low? is the voltage output all in the capacitor and not in the load resistor? pls help im a newbie pls

The circuit is not designed to drive such a small load (8 ohms).
Here is one way to look at it. For the voltage to go positive it goes thru the 2.7k resistor. The impedance of the capacitor is low so it is basically a voltage divide 270K and 8 ohms.
