Shrimp, prawn, crayfish, etc mean different things in different parts of the world. What an American would call a shrimp, an Englishman would call a prawn. If it's from Norway, it might not even be available in America.
Looks tasty though.

Its an old story. I heard it from an Iranian girl back in high school. She wore a hajib and got teased for it quite a bit.

Back then, 38 years or so go, it was rare to see someone wear a hajib here in Canada. Since I had lived in Africa before coming here it was not all that new to me. I guess most of the Muslim immigrants decided it was better to try to fit in rather than continue their native culture. Now it is fairly common place.

I guessed the moral of the story was that virtue kept hidden is more valuable. However I may not agree with the sentiment. Many 'flowers' are never cast aside, while many 'pearls' are never sought. Just the way things are.

Funny you should mention Sherlock. I'm currently reading the adventures of Sherlock Holmes. It was a free ebook I downloaded on my kindle.
You like it so far? I read all the books multiple times. Also a fan of Agatha Christie. Oh and I love Tom Clancy novels. Not really mystery, but more like political espionage, but still.

Count,

I've read them before when I was much younger. It was time to revisit them. I read while I'm waiting for my grandson to get out of school or at a Dr appointment.

They are a good read, but, there are words one has to revisit the dictionary to ensure they know the proper context. You instantily know that is not what they meant, so it's off to the dictionary (built into kindle) to re-learn the definition.

I find that some, especially on internet forums, fail to realize there are more that one definition but they only accept whatever they know as the absolute definition, causing an unnecessary rant totally unrelated to the statement. That hasn't happen in this forum quite as much as it does in non-technical forums.
