Whomever did the shooting clearly wanted the passenger dead!
I don't know about the passenger, but the guy in the middle was sure toast!

Actually, my guess is that the people doing the shooting were off to the right side of the car, especially when you consider the grooves in the hood.

Interesting that I can't see any sign of blood in the car (not that the visibility is very good).

Do we know what the story on this car is? I notice that it is missing the windshield wipers (have no idea what that means). Is it possible that this car was being used for target practice at a range? I know (some) military snipers get specific training at shooting through window class (both buildings and cars) because of the effect it can have on bullet trajectory, particularly at high deflection angles (which would seem to jive with the offset of the bullet holes if the driver was the target).

The picture was from the Cleveland police trial that must be in an alternate reality where police are actually are held accountable before the latest riots..

Is there a story behind it? If it was someone wrongfully gunned down. I feel ashamed:oops:

It looked like Jake and Elwoods car from the movie "Blues Brothers"

My apology.

Today I was informed that homeowner guns down a Man forcing entry to his home yesterday.

Edit: To close for comfort; you would think this would be happening in a larger population at this rate. I live in what is considered to be a small town.
I can't help but notice that the intruder only "allegedly" did this or did that, but the homeowner, in a matter that has been referred to the District Attorney and therefore could still result in charges being filed, didn't "allegedly" kill the "alleged" intruder, but rather did.

He was out gunned....bullet wide, a service weapon -v- two ak47s. However, it is abundantly clear who knew how to correctly apply gun control. Two shots, two kills, case closed.

Is it me or is this really cartoonish.

A friend; says to me just recently. Hey did you know ISIS is in Mexico and a few words later I'm thinking; "Nah" not in my lifetime?

Suddenly my reference to the Blues Brothers is coming home and all of this is photoshop and amusement.

Edit: If this is something that has actually happened; we should prepare for much worse. They are in this country ready for violent crimes that they can't commit without sending bodies to the front of a battle that has not yet been declared openly to the general public.

It happened. I saw it on the news this AM and my son, a Dallas Police Officer, asked me this afternoon if I heard about it.

http://www.nbcdfw.com/news/local/Shots-Fired-at-Prophet-Muhammad-Art-Event-302362751.html

and from that report ....

Johnny Roby of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, who was attending the contest, told the Associated Press he was outside the building when he heard around about 20 shots that appeared to be coming from the direction of a passing car.

Roby said he then heard two single shots. He said he heard officers yell that they had the car before he was sent inside the building.
and here's a little humor that might actually be true ....

Speaking of Texas women .... here's the ending of a high speed chase

So what's with the person in the light colored clothes that gets out goes behind the vehicle lays down then flops around for a bit then gets back up and runs back to the side of the vehicle?

It reminds me of when I was a kid when one of my brothers temper tantrums would go wrong not getting him the attention he wanted. Run around drop down flop like a fish having a fit. Oops. No one cares so get back up and act like nothing happened.

I think they weaseled out in that article by being careful to note they were quoting the cop. They can argue that they accurately quoted the cop, and that they can't be sued for libel for reporting what the cop told them. The cop could be in trouble for slander, I suppose, if the homeowner ends up being charged. But they'd have to prove he was wrong and did it on purpose. I think everyone assumes there will be no charges filed.
