MrAl Joined Jun 17, 2014 11,496 Nov 3, 2020 #5 A short only affects the resistors that it is in parallel with making them insignificant. Look at the circuit, replace R3 with a short (line), then see what you have left. You will still have a circuit but it will be smaller.
