Yeah, that's weird. In the Apple world, no device I know of will do that. Off is off.

 

This thread has got me to thinking about how the auto suggest system works in Google and most any web related search systems.

For example I have my regular few forums and sites I go to so when I hit a key like the 'A' key I should get the AAC forum as the first suggestion right?

ButI don't. No matter what letter of the alphabet I start with I always get several odd suggestions (some very persistently first, most often porn related of course, regardless of letter chosen) to some sites that I have never and would never go to for the first 3 - 8 lines, many that don't even start with that letter, before the ones I do go to that do start with that letter are listed.

So how's that work?

 

Getting the Stock ROM is only from the manufacturer or from those who fiddle with custom ROM's to make them faster and better.
Installing the ROM is tricky, I have done that a few times.
The base band and kernel numbers need to match.

A for iPhones, if itunes cannot restore the phone, it is worthless.
