Helloo we have trouble replicating this circuit, from what I read before its missing a diode for C4 to discharge its signal, although I'm not sure what kind and where to place it

We didn't put a switchh anymore just manually placed a wire to a specific resistor, we're currently checking the circuit it has a problem of shutting down after a few seconds the current stops flowingI'd say you need a capacitor between SW1 and R2, otherwise the offset of the amplifier gets multiplied by its gain.
You read correctly. You need a diode (e.g. a 1N4148, not critical) with its cathode connected to Q1 emitter and its anode connected to Q1 base.from what I read before its missing a diode for C4 to discharge its signal, although I'm not sure what kind and where to place it
