Reversing a DC motor with travel limits

Hi All and thanks in advance for reading on.
I have a project that requires 90 degrees of travel from a gear reduced DC reversible motor.
from what I have already researched it looks like need a mechanical latching relay.
I already have two limit switches, motor and powered supply.
I was going to use two power supplies, wired opposite polarity and the switches but I think I'm barking up the wrong tree.

The objective is to energize the motor to run 90 degrees to a stop using a limit switch and when energized again the motor will reverse 90 degrees to a stop with the second limit switch. so every time power is turned on the motor will run 90 degrees but switch direction.

I have never used a latching relay and I don't know if I need one or two relays and were in the circuit to place them.
Also do they need to have power supplied directly to them or do they work on the power in the circuit?

Thanks again

Michael
