I am trying to use this https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004ZRO8SO?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_dt_b_asin_title reversing relay to have a forward reverse function on a Baldor industrial duty motor. Any help is appreciated.

 

That contactor is actually a 3ph reverser.
But it should be possible to use it.
You just need to swap the 5 & 8 Connection.
Do you have a pic of the actual motor terminal box connections ?

 

The name plate includes both the connection data and the reversing scheme. You will need to remove those six wires from the three phase configuration And arrange for the contactor to exchange the connections to terminals 5 and 8. AND, then use that third pole to control the line feed to the whole motor.
