It's just an opto-isolated MOSFET switch. It's a pretty simple standard arrangement.

You can see the MOSFET part number in one of the pictures and they show the circuit board in another. There's not a whole lot to "reverse engineer" – opto-isolators pretty much have the same package layout, and the LED resistor can be calculated based on your control voltage.

Look up MOSFET switch circuits to see the basic arrangement.

This is also a very bad design:
1. Input resistor R1 to opto-coupler - for 3v operation needs to be around 270ohm., but opto-coupler will fry on >15v input (If exceeds max of 50mA)
2. Inputs > 12v will potentially overheat R1 (0.4W v 0.1W part)
3. Supply voltage > 20v will potentially destroy MOSFET as will exceed Vgs(max) for MOSFET when opto-coupler turns on.
