I am in the process of organizing these little boogers, putting them in envelopes and drawers, etc.
And, I have a few that are kinda close in sizing. Examples 460, 470, 9.9k, 10.1k, etc
How do y'all handle these ? Do you lump them together if they are within a certain % of the color coding ?
Oh yeah, these are all 5%.
I read the " Show us your resistors " post and I don't remember reading anything about it.

As per the link, I have 25 drawers that I have each labeled the primary value(s).
10, 11, 12, 15 ---- 75, 82, 91 .
Max.

 

I group all of the resistors in a decade together (e.g. 300, 330, 360, 390). I also combine wattage and tolerance.
