Is a 680R resistor the same as a 680 Ohm resistor? I tried to look for the 680R resistor on Newwark electronics but the site is crashing and then tried to look on Mouser but I don't see any resistors that say 680R.

There are some conventions used in schematic.
You will see the R as in 680R wich means 680 Ohms.
The R can also be in the middle of a value as in 6R8 wich means 6.8 Ohms

What's a 4.7R as shown in the schematic for R4?

Generally, that convention uses the R (or K) as a decimal. Thus, 4.7 ohm = 4R7, not 4.7R.
