Hello All
I require an embedded board with 10 nos of uart. Can any one suggest me any Controllers that could have many built in UARTs, or is thger any other way of handelling this.

I would choose a microcontroller with an SPI interface and use 10 MAX3100 UARTS. I have a design that uses three of them, and I see no reason why 10 would be out of the question.

 

Use a small FPGA + Your target MCU (or you can put your MCU in fpga)
Using FPGA, you can have more than 20 UART interface

You'd have to either design or purchase a suitable UART core. This might not be everyones cup of tea.
