The ceiling lights in my house are on a 12vdc system. I want to replace two of the fixtures, which are gimbaled 4" LEDs, with flush mounted fixtures that fit in the same opening (~3" diameter). Can I buy a fixture at the store that's LED for 120v and conveert it in some simple way to fit in the can and opening I have and use with my existing 12v system?

Bulbs designed for 120VAC won't work well with 12VDC. It'd be simpler to buy something intended for 12VDC.
