Replace a single, 4-wire CBB61 capacitor with 3 individual caps, how to wire them?

The price of a single 4-wire is 230php plus shipping, while single caps are available at a local store for just 30php each.

The CBB61 has rating of 2.4uF + 1 + 1uF and I'm thinking of replacing it with 3 caps of similar rating. Not only are they cheaper but if 1 blows then replacement is also much cheaper as I need to replace only 1 cap.

I found a similar diagram for a 5-wire. Is this the correct wiring?

Thanks!

You can have individual capacitors of same (or better) rating as a replacement.
Make sure that they are AC capacitors and you have sufficient space to mount them. The overall size will be bigger.

It works well, thanks!

And another good thing is that using this mod the fan speed can be customized. I tried with different capacitor values for each speed setting and now we can use all 4 settings. Previously, only speeds 3 and 4 are usable but with the right capacitor we can now choose to run any of them.
