Remove Volts/ Division knobs of oscilloscope

My scope is Instek OS-622B.

The switches and potentiometers need to be cleaned. To do that I need to remove the front panel of the scope to get at them. Removing all of the knobs is the first step in taking off the front panel. Each of the two Volts/ division knobs has two holes at a right angle through the knob perpendicular to the shaft. I would expect to find a set screw with a slot or an Allen head, but I'm not seeing either of those. What I see appears to be a (very small) cylindrical inset.

Does anyone know how this type of knob is removed? Thank you very much if you do!

It is possible that the screws are 1mm or 1.5mm Allen head. Being that small, I imagine seeing the faces of the socket might be difficult.

My plan to clean the switches and pots (if possible) is to spray them with a contact cleaner. Is that something that would do work?
