Hi guys,
I have a new keyboard it is a thinkpad usb keyboard, but I don't like the membranes it comes with, I have an old keyboard from a broken thinkpad that has good membranes (they have different shape, have more feedback and not mushy), so I'm wondering if I can swap the membranes successfully with a hot air station without damaging those plastic strips where keyboard circuit is printed?
I'd like to heat the membranes to a safe temp to soft the glue that hold membranes in position, but not sure if I'm gonna ruin the flexible pcb in the new keyboard.
Hope your answers!
