Newbie here. Can anyone provide some wisdom on the following?

I have a presto hydraulic 12v pallet stacker, model PST27127, and would like to rig the equipment to a remote control. Is this possible? The up/down travel is currently controlled by a stick lever. My preliminary research on the subject looks like this project calls for a 2-channel momentary switch. Page 16 of the attached manual provides the schematics for the the stacker. I was thinking that maybe even a winch remote control kit would do the job.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

 

I assume you want wireless remote?
What kind of distance are we talking?

Hi there. Yes, wireless remote. Not far, maybe 20' at most. ~KC

 

What's the ' in 20'?

 

"Feet" - 20 feet max distance wireless communicationbetween the operator and the equipment.

 

A little overkill but cheap is a RC TX and RX using just the two toggle switch functions if necessary.
You can get a basic set up for ~ $50.00.
