I would ask you something. I want to create simple circuit to controll relay with computer. If it is possible, I want to use RJ-45 connector from my home server because there will be more than 5 relay controll deviced. Do you have any idea? Thanks for yours replies and advices and sorry for my english, Im still learning. I hope you understead, what I want.

To answer your question, yes. There are many ways to do this, depending on your budget, schedule, etc. You can also use the USB port, maybe make it easier.

 

There are 8 outputs on the parallel port.
You just need a 2n7000 or a ULN2805 from these to control a relay.

Computers these days don't have a parallel port. You'll need a UBS/parallel converter. I use the FTDI-4232. This will only work for windows, as they don't provide parallel port drivers for Linux.

Off the shelf, maybe not, but if you put your own together you can still get Asus etc M.B.'s with a 25pin D.

Sure, but the OP said he's using an existing machine.

 

You may not have to build your own machine. If there's an available slot, the OP could add a parallel port to the existing machine.
