I have a reference design where the mppt management has been used. The input is 12V DC. In this reference, it is used to charge 7.4V Li Ion battery. I want it for Li Ion 3S4P 12V Li Ion battery. Please tell me what should be the values to get 12V output. Kindly find the picture

 

The circuit can reduce the output to less than the input but you cannot put 12V in and get 12V out.

The reference is according to the typical circuit diagram which you can get from the CN3722 datasheet.

 

SS34A are Schottky diodes not Zeners.

Would not be the first time datasheets must be corrected.

The circuit is correct but it will not do what you want.

 

Are you flexible must you use the CN3722 IC.Also 3S4P 12V Li Ion battery, is this a battery pack. And I must know your power supply specifications you intend to use. For the charging circuit .

I would be using 12V DC supply and one from Solar panel 12V 20W

I need more information you got to help me out. Is this proprietary for specific application a specific device.
Charging lithium ion batteries can be very dangerous they will explode I need all the information you can give me.
