recommend a camera system

I need at least (3) cameras to observe and record some outdoor testing. Requirements:

• outdoor rated
• PTZ with a good optical zoom. My point & shoot has 24X zoom and it works nicely but can't be controlled remotely.
• HD video
• reliable, consistent, simple, and easy to use out of the box
• Would be nice if it's part of a surveillance-type system with DVR so it's more-or-less plug & play.

If anybody knows of something offhand that fits, please give me a shout. It would save me some time looking...

BTW if you were to suggest GoPro cameras. That's what I'm using currently and I don't like them because:

• you need a separate phone for each camera controlled
• Battery does not last long even with camera powered off (and wifi still on).
• phone app and camera are buggy
• wide angle Fish eye lens is the opposite of what I need (zoom)

Also I've tried some Foscam PTZ cameras which worked alright but their software was a bit buggy too.
