This is my first time designing a board and I'm trying to figure out the pinouts of a DIP05-1C90-51L. The datasheet gives this diagram and I'm lost on how to interpret it:

That figure is horrible. There are connections that are laying on the grid lines making them nearly invisible.
This marked up figure might help you understand what is going on.

Ignore the blue and green dots on the last added line, those are handles from the markup program, I accidentally left them when I took the screenshot.

Ok so the top switch represents the single throw of the relay? So current needs to pass through pins 1 and 7 for the switch to be flipped?

 

Pins 1 & 14, and 7 & 8 are common pairs. The switch is across 1/14 and 7/8.

 

I think the product I'm looking at is 51 on the chart, can you please mark that one up?

 

What S/W are you using for schematic capture?
If the S/W does not include a footprint for a DIP relay, very simple to modify a standard DIP outline??
In any case, the manuf sheet offers a much better diagram than yours, showing contacts in detail.

I’m using KiCAD and modifying DIP outline, just looking to check if my pinouts match.

 

Kicad has the outline for that part series.

I think he needed the Kicad footprint, which is included in the latest version.
