Hello all,
I have recently acquired an hand blender and opened it to see whats inside. I notice that it has a bridge retifier (KBP310) before the motor terminals, so I assumed that it was a DC motor, but turns out it is AC (230V/50Hz). Any of you know what is the purpose of the bridge retifier in this case?
Thank you.

Welcome to AAC.

If there is a bridge rectifier output connected to the motor, it is running on AC DC. I don't think you've provided enough information. Do you have pictures? A schematic?

Thanks for the replys. Yes, when I saw the bridge retifier I assumed that it was for sure DC. But then I saw a frequency indication on the motor, which, I suppose, means it runs on AC, no? I am new at this, so bear with me please :)
