Hi to everyone, I have bought some led drivers with a pwm control pin for dimming, i would like to build a pwm for use with these using a ne555 has anyone got a scematic for a pwm which would run these as they should be run i would post the data sheet on the driver but i can not download it so all i can do is give a part number LDU4860S1000-WD i hope this is enough thanks in advance for any help. Ihave just found this can you tell me if this would work and what value resistors i would need

Hello,

There is a short datasheet on the website:
http://www.xppower.com/pdfs/SF_LDU08-48.pdf

In there is given the max PWM frequency is 1kHz.

Rich (BB code):
Dimming
PWM
Output Current Range • 25% to 100%
Operating Frequency • 1 kHz max
On Time • 200 ns min
Off Time • 200 ns min
Amplitude • 1.25 V max

DC Voltage Control
Output Current Range • 25% to 100%
Control Input • 0.3 to 1.25 V max

Variable Resistor
Output Current Range • 25% to 100%
