Im building a cnc router and hoping someone can offer me a solution to my problem, iv got a Chinese spindle that come with an adjustable power supply controlled via a potentiometer. But the controller im using is pwm speed control. (leafboy akz250)
Is there a way to convert the pwm signal to control the speed of the supply

Possibly.
But we'd need to know how the pot is controlling the Chinese supply.
Do you have a schematic for that, or any other info?

 

There is a possibility that the adjustable supply is actually putting out PWM. Have you checked?

In any event, it appears to be DC, but that also needs to be confirmed as well as the maximum voltage. If it is DC, then a PWM supply of the same maximum voltage should work

 

Iv not really had much time to looking the power supply yet but ill have a look and report back
