Can anyone clear my idea wat does this Pulse transformer do?
Actually i have to drive the SCR using this pulse transformer.

Pulse transformers are generally used for isolating fast signals; signals with fast rise and fall times. You are probably switching the gate on a high power SCR using a uC powered from a low voltage bus.
