Hi everybody!
i have 3 water pumps with floater (controller) that act independently and i want to protect them. when floater corrupted, pump is running continuously, so pump is burning.

I want to make timer that turn on water pump for 5 minutes and after this time , turn off it and never start it unless the power source failure or failed (this is not like staircase).

I want using simple circuit like IC timer (ec555).

anybody can help me ?

 

Why limit the pump like that? What if you need the pump to keep running?
You could add a second float switch in series with the original one and then both switches would have to fail to damage the pump.

each water pump is 2 horse power. this pump must work 1 or 2 minutes, if it is working until more ( like 5 ,6 , ... minutes), so it will be burned or corrupted .
