I am having Top3000, Top3100 and Pickit2 &3, till now I have tried all methods with these programmers but none worked. Please tell me if I can programm 16F689 with one of these by changing some settings or something

It asks to choose the type of IC and I can not find PIC16F689 particularly

 

Is this with MPLAB or MPLABX?
Which version of the IDE is it?

 

Even MPLAB IDE 8.95 shows either PICKIT 2 or 3 ok for the 16F689

 

What kind of programmer software you use? For example PICkit2 standalone app asks first to select the device family (baseline or midrange ) before you can choose particular pic device. PIC16F689 belongs to midrange device family.
