I got this Siemens LOGO! 230RC PLC today, which I wanna have some fun with, but the only free software I can find to program it on is Siemens own demo version, which does not offer hooking the PLC up to the computer.

Are there other options? Maybe other software for the job? Am I just sitting with a useless piece of plastic and chips?

 

I believe you can program on the device... it's much easier using software.

 

I can check to see if I still have the full S/W.

I have the LOGOsoftcomfortV7.0.30 I don't know if this works with yours.
Also I see there is a cracked V8 on the web.

I've tried tens of those cracked links, but they all require some sort of membership that was not free.
