I.m trying to measure line voltage (220V) using the Avago chip HCPL-7520 but I found some problems.
Based in https://forums.adafruit.com/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=112761 , I connected the chip in the same way, but values I got in from the 7520 were not as expected. The problem I have is, I got always the same voltage independently of what voltage I have in the line from 120V - 230V.
I tried using the 7520 with a transformer 220V/9V AC and the result were the same. But when I used DC instead of AC , 7520 perform according the datasheet.
So I convert AC to DC using this configuration(attached) to measure the 220V line but it doesn't work at all.
Could somebody help me pointing me out what is wrong?
