tcmtech - thanks, I do like the idea of tapping into the power on the head unit itself.
Would you be able to link me to a couple of examples on Amazon or eBay as to the small relay you mentioned and the 2 amp 12 volt USB power adapters? I'm not quite sure what the relay is or how the USB adapters would connect to it - sorry.
The JVC unit seems to have a low amp output as you mentioned that I am not using - from the manual it looks like it is 200mA...
If you could provide me with a couple of links to products I think that might help me visualize it a bit better. I really appreciate it!
