My problem is that my tv's USB port won't sufficiently power my led bias lightning. I could use a powered USB hub but that wouldn't turn the lighting off when my tv is turned off. My solution is simple but I have not been able to find this solution to purchase off the shelf. My solution is a powered USB hub that turns power off when the USB port plugged into my tv loses signal because my tv is turned off.
I prefer to buy one but I couldn't find such a thing. I could do something like this with a raspberry pi but I think that would be Overkill. I think the best thing might be to build a little board with transistors because of the very simple logic. What do you think would be the best way to go about it?
