Ironically. I believe this forum is now owned by a Canadian source?
If so Cannabis is now legal in Canada, but most firearms are not, but in spite of several OP's on the subject of owning guns, no one has objected to the posts despite the illegality of them in just about anywhere but USA.
IOW, if this is intended to be a world forum, every jurisdictions has differing laws, so what is taboo in one country may not be where the OP is located.

Hey, hey, hey Max, you are touching a little close to home there, :) Actually in the US guns as to what we may and may not own is controlled by the states. Many states like NY and CA have very restrictive gun control laws including even the sale of ammunition while other states are very permissive. There are certain federal laws which need obeyed like transfers but individual states have quite a bit of say so. I happen to live in Ohio just south of you guys and Ohio is fairly permissive with their gun laws.

Hi Guys,
Please come back onto the TS's topic. ;)
E
Thankyou eric and thankyou max though im not illigal i do sonewhat agree with what your saying. It makes sence.

@MaxHeadRoom you seem to know your electronics.
Ive checked online on a safety website with a calculator
It allows me to add 4 computers 700w 3amp. On an extension lead in 1 socket
And is safe not overloaded.

So again lol using a 13amp 4way extension. (for the space on sockets)
Plug in 2 individual 600watt rated contactor timers and my lights on that.
Like this https://www.screwfix.com/p/masterplug-13a-4-gang-extension-lead-10m/61173

Safe yeah? Or i can upgrade to a extension lead with 2.5mm wire if needed and use 2 plug socket 2 cable 1 each light if lenght is ok?

Well the 1st does have a 13amp fuse in the extension.
Also any wall plug normally has the required fuse, also 13a maximum.
I have an electricians license for UK, but left a short while after the 13a ring main was implemented.
But did install a few.
(The wiring sizes were still in imperial!!)

Thanks max most normal reply ive had so far hahaha.
So are you saying i should be fine using the 4way 13amp from my wall. With the contactor timers in that and my 600w 3amp x2 hps lights in the same extension lead. No problem as im not exceeding 13amp right?

And the contactor poses no risk only protects the timer and stops surges so if anything makes it safer yes?
