Power supply output need protection

Hello,
I'm using 24VDC power supply unit (40A) for one of my application. I have MCB on input side protection though there is a in-built fuse inside. Do we need to protect output side of the power supply? I'm running single wire from power supply output to terminal blocks for distributing 24VDC and RTN. Should I place a MCB to protect this wire in case any short circuit occurred on terminal block? Please suggest me your thoughts on this. Thanks!

The current should be limited at the power supply output to the fusing current of the wire.
If the power supply can't be limited to that amount, then you should add a fuse to its output.

Does the power supply have a current limit built-in?
I'm planning to use Power supply from Phoenix contact model no:2866789.
I don't see current limit in the spec. Can you please review the spec real quick? If current limiter is not present then I should place a 40A DC circuit breaker. Am I correct?

Use a 24 VDC relay (contacts rated to 40A) as short detector as attached diagram.
To enable output you need to push NO bttn switch, id for some reason occur a short at the output(DUT)current is max and voltage drop so relay on normal state (NC) and LED glows.

I have used CB to be on the safer side. thanks for all your inputs.

Another question is, the power supply input current is 5.3A at 230VAC and Inrush is 60A. Should 7A CB work fine or what should I do to avoid inrush current? Any calculations to be done? Thanks
