I have a bit of knowledge in electronics. need to provide +12 -12 GND power supply to a photosensor, but don't have the particular device to power it. I'm using smps right now, by connecting v+ and GND output pins don't give any output, please let me know is there any easy way to handle this scenario

You may be able to have it function on + and - six volts if you use a voltage divider across the 12 volt supply. But that may not work.
If the supply has a transformer and diodes, then you could add another set of diodes to get a negative 12 volts supply. But the supply is a switch-mode supply so that would not work. There are some voltage inverter circuits but they are sort of complex.
It might function if you tied the -12 terminal and the commn on the photosensor together. If it is a photosensor that you built and it uses an opamp, let us know, there are a number of options in that case.
