Power goes off when connecting both alligator clips

Hi,

I bought a device that doesn't work, I hope you can help me fix it.

The device is a Colloidal Silver Brewer.

It has two alligator clips connecting to two silver wires, it is supposed to send electricity into the silver wires which are placed in water, and emit nano particles of silver into the water.

The problem is the moment I connect the second alligator clip, the light on the power button goes off.

It's the same with either alligator clip, red or black.

When only one is connected, the power button light is on. When the second alligator clip connects, the lights goes off.

The silver wires are not touching each other.

Please help me figure out how to make it work quickly, I need it urgently.

Thank you.

The most likely cause is that the conductivity of the water between the silver electrodes is too low high for the power supply to be able to drive.

But this may be a good thing -- taking colloidal silver runs significant risks of serious harm on a number of fronts, including severe organ and neurological damage. About the only thing that it may be useful for are minor skin infections, as it does have antimicrobial properties, but even in this use, there are significant risks of it getting into your body through the wound. Before you fall for any of the myriad snake-oil sales pitches touting colloidal silver as a cure for this and that, do some serious investigation and at least ask yourself if you are really, really willing to risk the known and potentially fatal harmful side effects.

Lower than the air when one of the clips is not connected? Did you mean too high, causing an overload?

I'm afraid that You are the one that needs to do some studying on this subject.
You really should heavily question your source of information, it is 100% WRONG.
Colloidal-Silver-Water is 100% safe for all animals including Humans, and in virtually any realistic dosage.
( too much Water will kill You dead )

The only drawback of Colloidal-Silver is that it kills "Good-Bacteria" as well as "Bad-Bacteria",
and it does it in mere minutes, which can sometimes cause the discomfort of Diarrhea,
as your body does a huge flush-out of ALL KNOWN PATHOGENS,
( unfortunately, including the good ones that assist in the normal good and complete digestion of food ).

There certainly are some quacks and scammers out there, as there is in any field,
who want to sell You a ~2-oz. Bottle, and then tell You to take one drop everyday ......... BS.
Routine ingestion of Colloidal-Silver will sterilize your digestive tract and make it impossible
to properly digest food, and get all the nutrition out of it.

It is NOT to be used as a Daily-Supplement.
It is an excellent whole-body Detox.
A Detox is not something that should be done routinely,
once a year is completely adequate.

Natural-Probiotics should be eaten with normal meals for the next several days after
ingestion of a large quantity of Colloidal-Silver,
which should not be done more than once a month, preferably less often.
This will help to insure a healthy level of "Good-Gut-Bacteria" for good digestion.

Natural-Probiotics may include ...........
Any food that has been subjected to Natural-Fermentation such as
Sour-Kraut, Pickles, Sour-Cream, Yogurt, Natural-Vinegar, Wine, etc.
Different foods have different types of Probiotics, so a large variety is best.

Colloidal-Silver is the most powerful Topical-Germ-Killer for open wounds, ( aside from Colloidal-Gold ),
nothing else even comes remotely close.
And, it's 100% safe in all normal conditions,
unless You are currently in a condition of dire-health and should be in a Hospital under the care of a Doctor,
in that case, the rather abrupt and massive "kill-off" of pathogens can
overload the Liver and Kidneys and possibly create unwanted complications of the existing condition.

I speak from first-hand-experience, having discovered Colloidal-Silver for my self back in ~1999.
There are zero "harmful-side-effects" created by Colloidal-Silver.
Harmful-side-effects come from Commercial-Pharmaceuticals, I avoid them like the Plague.
And no, my skin did not turn blue, and I have zero "neurological damage".

Do you think I should be using steam-distilled water? I have heard that people use even dirty river water and it still works.

Thank you for sharing your graphic. Would you have any idea why my current generator does not work, do you also think the water is too conductive?

I know nothing about the current Current-Limiter-Circuit that You are trying to use.
You should use nothing but Distilled-Water,
any other type of Water will be too conductive, and
will tend to cause the Silver to be ripped-off in large chunks,
rather than Microscopic ( Colloidal ) particles.

~25mA is the maximum Current that should be allowed.
More Current causes particles that are too large.

I'd take ripped-off large chunks right now, too. But it's not doing anything unfortunately.

I tried touching the two silver wires to short them and nothing happened, I also tried touching the silver wires with my hands and I didn't feel any electrocution.

Ask Terry Chamberlain what the problem might be.
He'd have me send it back for repairs. But I need to use it now, and the time and money spent on shipping would make me pay double plus time wasted.

He simply said the water can not be too conductive., but he doesn't build it himself and wouldn't be able to answer questions about its construction.

By all means, take as much of it as you want. The TS is free to take as much as they want, too. I merely suggested that they do some serious investigation before they start downing it.

I'm not going to get into a long drawn out debate with you on this, so that's the last I will say.

What does this tell You about the continuous propaganda generated by
the multi-Trillion-Dollar Pharmaceutical-Industry ?

Do You really think that they are NOT going to smear and slander anything that cuts into their profits ?

Further more, what does this all say about "Arguing-from-Authority" ?,
and what about the mountains of "Empirical-Evidence" ?,
both for the efficacy of Colloidal-Silver, and
the dismal performance of Synthetic-Pharmaceutical-Products.

Maltodextrin is proven to be far and away more hazardous to
Human-Life than Colloidal-Silver ever conceivably could be,
and Maltodextrin is an FDA-Approved Food-Additive found in half of the garbage You eat.

We are lied-to on a non-stop, 24/7, basis.
Everything should be questioned, always,
especially when it is claimed to be from "Authority".

Without knowing more about the power source, any real answer is almost impossible.

Please post photos of the front, sides, and back of the device, with any labels or other printing.

What are the controls and switches? What is the power source (9 V battery / wall wart / other)?

What documentation came with the device? If any, please post it.

Also, another photo of the inside from a different angle. It looks like there are three Faston (QC) connectors on something, maybe a toggle or rocker switch - ?

Where is the light? Inside the switch?

If the upper-left thing is a fuseholder, what is the value of the fuse?

Warning - If this thing plugs directly into the AC mains, that is very bad. Expect some much more negative comments. Among other things, that makes this a non-isolated patient-contact device, something almost impossible to get safety-certified in the US.

Thank you for the response.

I was told today that the device should be sending 55-60 VDC, I was told amperage is irrelevant because it's not high enough.

You are right, the three-pointed thingie is an on/off switch, and the light is inside the switch.

The fuses are 500ma (1/2 amp), 250V, 5x20 MM in size.

The power cable comes with an adapter, it is plugged into an outlet at 220-240 VAC, and I assume it contains some kind of transformer if the output is 50 VDC.

I don't have the device right now, I gave it over to a local electrician/repair man to check it out. He just told me the exit voltage is 46 VDC, so it's technically working on paper but it's still not making CS, and as I mentioned before, when both silver wires are in the water, and both alligator clips are connected to one wire each, the light on the toggle switch turns off.

Local repair man also suggested the water may have too much salt and be too conductive, he's going to try it with distilled water later on and let me know the results.

However, the seller said it's impossible for the water to be too conductive, and has known many people using dirty water from an Indian river, unboiled, non-distilled, and still made CS just fine. It's the first time he's heard something like this, and he's been working with CS for over 35 years.

I honestly don't understand if the proper voltage is coming out (anything between 30 VDC to 60 VDC is within range), why isn't it working?

If the water were too conductive, shouldn't the fuse have blown>? The fuses are intact, and I tried different ones.

I will update the thread once I hear more from the electrician/repair man, but feel free to share any ideas about other causes besides the conductivity of the water.
