can any one help me in designing 1 Watt power amplifier using BJT.
Transistors to be used is BFG591 and BFG198 at 2GHz frequency

What programming language will you be using for the amplifier?

i am using Advanced Design System(ADS) Software. I am trying to bias BFG591 in Class C mode but not understanding what should be the value of base resistor and coupling capacitors.

 

More information is always good. Try posting what you've done, schematics are the universal language of electronics.

What should be the value of coupling capacitors in the circuit and also Load?
