Does anyone know how to get the Sharp EL-506W to show the angles in polar form? I am tying to find ZT on an RLC circuit. I get the correct answer, but no angle to be found. My settings are:

Have you consulted the user's manual? I see that the calculator can perform the polar to rectangular and rectangular to polar conversion.

Thanks for responding. Yeah I was looking over the manual last night and I had it working in the past. I followed the manuals instructions ,but all I get is the correct answer without an angle.

 

I would expect to find the angle stored in the independent register M.

Hm how would I turn on and access the M independent memory. I remember having an M in the corner of the calculator before ,but never used it. I don't have it right now.

Press the RCL key and then press the key that has M above it.

I got that to work but its still not showing the angle.

 

I don't know what else to tell you to do since I don't have the calculator in front of me.
