PN512 unable to communicate with I2C communication.

I've designed an RFID system with the attached schematics and created a PCB. The SPI communication protocol works fine, and I can read register addresses successfully. However, when using I2C, I'm unable to read the register addresses. I've tested this with both Arduino and STM32 Nucleo boards. I've pulled up A0 and A1 with 10k resistors to enable I2C communication. What could be causing this issue?
