hello

New to the forum, bit the bullet and purchased a global specialist PB507LAB workstation and purchased a 4145B semi conductor analyzer.

i purchased the PB507LAB as i wanted somthing to mess around on and somthing more modern to be honest i had my eye on it for quite a while and thought what the hell.

i have been messing around trying to control a injector using an Arduino so far i have discovered the voltage rail isn't enough amps to pulse the injector as only rated for 0.5amp where as the injector is an old 80's high impedance injector from a old Sierra (UK) which needs around 3-4amps to drive it, which is a complete pain I'm thinking a buck converter might be able to fix that. , the next tinkering I plan on messing around with a H bridge IC , i was hoping i could find one which is high rated the 600ma so i can drive a throttle body from a car.

next think i have is a 4145B semi conductor analyzer.
i have no idea how to use it, i purchased it as i needed somthing with more test functions for the transistors , and 8can op amps. , its abit of a beast of equipment but very interesting how it does it. no pictures at the moment. to follow!

I have a very broken much older breadboard system from E&L instruments called an ELITE2 , its the grandfather of the device PB507LAB as global specialist own E&L instruments its new meet old. unfortunailty this one is very broken. i plan on getting it back to full health (eventually) I had tried fixing by having one of the transformers rewound but inadvertently made it worse by causing my self further problems in other area's of the machine, i had searched high and low to look for a schematic for it, and frustrating there isn't much of the way of it, only what the youtuber Curiousmarc created with his crack team when he had fixed the same version, his one very broken much like mine.
