Some recent photos, EXIF available for the curious. The first is on the Magothy River in Maryland, from a while ago but new post work. The second is from a neighbour’s dock, a few houses down the street, yesterday. The third from our garden, it’s nut burying season. The fourth is before the sunrise, using flash.

 

I took this picture with a Samsung Note 9 in night mode. It was a dark night and there was no artificial lighting or flash, and barely any moonlight. I couldn't even see the chicken coop; All I could make out by my eyes was the tree line and a single glint of moonlight reflected off the roof. This is the first camera I've ever owned that sees better in the dark than I do.

The 2nd photo is a version of the first where I played with some setting to see what is the maximum amount of detail I can distinguish in the picture.
