What you really should be asking is whether there is a 4GL to PIC cross-compiler available. If you have a working cross-compiler you should be able to use it for any PIC. But I certainly don't know of any.
More to the point does anyone still use 4GL for anything other than database programming?
I am just getting into the curious world of microcontollers and I have used ASP/VBScript quite a bit... My C++ is a bit rusty and I was hoping to use what I already knew.
I guess I will likely need to get my college C++ book out and brush up on it
There is not that much C++ around for microcontrollers and most chips don't have the resources to utilise the full power of C++. The language of choice for microcontrollers at present is plain old C and there are plenty versions to choose from.
