Hi Trace'.

Nice design. I like it.

Of course this board can be used for both 8-pin and 14-pin PIC devices. Likewise, if you design a version for 20-pin devices, it could be used for all 8-pin, 14-pin, and 20-pin devices since they share a common port/pin naming and ICSP pin placement scheme (see below).

3rd pin down on the left and "0" pin in the center front are just balled up.. You need to reflow it so its actually soldered to the pad.. Looks like a glob of solder just floating above the pad..
There is a little residual rosin around the joints that may create that illusion in the photo, but the solder joints are completely flowed.

Great idea, very useful! Are these boards open source?
Or are you perhaps thinking of getting a few made and then selling them on 'Tindie' or something?

I had never heard of tindie until i read your post, and I didn't get around to checking it out until last night. It is a very interesting web-site; I may give it a try. E-bay sales are pretty slow. Thanks.
