LE: So this is it. I'm gonna call it AllienScrapper because it's made out of scrap parts and it looks like an alien ).

The black switch turns on and off the power supply, so making it active/passive, the gray one adds some bass boost(100u cap in parallel to C1), and the big white knob (pot) reduces the power supply voltage till the point when the filter becomes passive again.
