Hi,

I am designing a DEMUX circuit for driving multi-channel MEMS array and have difficult to design the DEMUX circuit.

Chosen key component of the relay for the DEMUX circuit is AQW227NS (PhotoMOS relay) as shown below.

But, I am worrying whether the relay can transfer the driver output (see control signal spec and limitation in the figure) to several selected devices among the MEMS array.

1. In the datasheet (see attached PDF), the output current dissipation (Pout) is 600 mW. Does it mean that power of driver output should be more than Pout so that there could be power remained (uneaten part by the relay) after passing through the relay? If so, I think the driver cannot deliver any power to target devices after passing through the relay considering the limitation (see limitation in the figure). Please, help me to overcome this issue.

2. Would any can tell me what the 'continuous load current (output)' is in the datasheet?

3. Would you please comment about any possible problem with my design?

Thanks,

HS
