I couldn't switch my current. Can you help meThe responsitivity of that photodiode is given right there in the data sheet: 0.9 amperes/watt of incident energy at a wavelength of 1310 nm and a reverse bias of 5 volts.
From that, and from the intensity of the illuminating source, you can calculate how much output current to expect.
Or, you can just measure the current with the diode illuminated.
