Hi, having a hard time figure out how to sovle these question.

  • The short-circuit level at the fault location is choose your answer...
  • The short-circuit current at the fault location is choose your answer...
  • The current from the source, when the marked short circuit occurs, is choose your answer...

Zbase1= 10k^2 / 1M = 100ohm Zbase2 = 400^2/1M = 0.16ohm
Z1(pu) = Z1 / Zbase =0.01i ohm Z2(pu) = 0.05i*0.16=8im Ohm Z3(pu) = 10m * 0.16 = 1.6mOhm
Transform
0.01i * (400^2/10k^2)=1.6*10^-5i

Ztot = 1.6*10^-5i + 8i*10^-3 + 1.6*10^-3 = (1.6m + 8.016im) ohm.
Up=UL/sqrt(3)= 400/sqrt(3)= 230.94
Ishort= Up/Ztot=230.94/1.6m+8.016mi = (5.5*10^3 - 2.7i*10^4)A --> abs(5.5*10^3 - 2.7i*10^4) = 28kA

But I´m making some mistakes here and I can´t figure it out.
Thanks in advance.
